Finding the right tone
ABN AMRO approached Designhouse when they decided to launch a wealth management service, initially in India, advising on investment advice to the wealthy ‘mass affluent’ sector.
Through the successful launch of Van Gogh Preferred Banking, we have since developed the brand and created an extensive portfolio of marketing collateral (above and below the line) which was rolled out across 14 countries – we worked with the global team to develop local solutions.

Celebrating 150 years of ABN Amro
We created the theme for an event at the National Gallery called ‘Yesterday & Tomorrow’ and used contrasting typographic styles to represent the past and present.
An invite was designed using heavyweight stock and gold metallic inks, together with a limited edition case bound book to mark the occasion and to be presented to guests as a memento of the event. Documenting the bank’s rich history of mergers and Dutch roots, the book is a fascinating record of its long heritage and future ambitions.
