Operating ferry ticket websites in 22 languages, covering over 1,970 ferry routes worldwide, this really is THE world’s largest online ferry ticketing comparison site.
But the old identity didn’t necessarily reflect Direct Ferries’ market-leading position and needed updating so that it worked when used in other media beyond the website.
We kept it simple, creating a new identity of three boat icons in different colours, and introduced a strapline ‘More Choice. Better Deals.’ that reflected the core offer.
We then went on to create a new website with a more contemporary look and feel. The new multiple search features and reorganised content mean a more user-friendly experience for the customer. The result is a friendly, easy to use website with a fun and bright identity.
Following the rebrand and website redesign, we are thrilled to report that sales are up 40% year on year (see article). The business is going from strength to strength, expanding into Asia and the US and recently securing private equity backing to fund further growth.
