Enhancing lives through sport
Designing a brand for a new charity was a truly rewarding and stimulating project for our team.
Designhouse were asked to create the identity and launch collateral for a charity called SOL – Sport, Opportunities, Lives. The charity was established to help bring a focus through sport for underprivileged children in India and Africa.
The brief was to deliver a solution that was happy and engaging, and could be translated and reproduced locally with basic materials and equipment.
A Venn diagram was used as a visual representation of the opportunities created when children and sport are brought together.
Inspired by Henri Matisse’s vibrant cutouts, the result is a joyous, bold and exuberant identity that has become a bright part of the children’s everyday lives.
