Creating a splash
Designhouse was commissioned by Aberdeen Asset Management to create a new brand identity for its 380,000 sq ft shopping and leisure centre, Two Rivers.
The brief was to increase the appeal of the centre to both shoppers and commercial tenants leasing space at the centre.
Applying a photographic approach, the new identity is bold and vibrant with a fresh, contemporary feel that appeals to a wide audience.
Eponymous tones, Wraysbury Blue and Colne Turquoise, represent the different ‘Shopping’ and ‘Leisure’ elements of Two Rivers. The line ‘Shopping meets Leisure’ is used in the same colours creating a powerful sense of unity.
The new branding has now been rolled out across the site, from signage and wayfinding, to store maps, website and brand guidelines for retail tenants.
The three year project culminated with the installation of a 2.5 tonne branded composite ‘rock’ at the entrance to the retail park, commissioned and built to match the colour of local stone.
