Developing a brand refresh for a groundbreaking pharmaceuticals company.
Oncosil is a global medical device company founded in 2004, designed to improve the outcomes for people living with pancreatic cancer. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Oncosil has a global footprint, recently receiving regulatory approval in both Switzerland and Malaysia. Their established and advanced technology has had a truly positive impact on Oncology.
Designhouse was briefed to position Oncosil as a leading brand in the sector that can introduce and support important clinical and scientific discussion. As well as a brand refresh, we were tasked with designing a new website, social media assets, exhibition graphics and corporate literature.
We were also tasked with creating video content such as a mode of action and dose preparation video. An annual report reflecting the past years performance for the company was created by us, as well as a radiation safety guideline document.
Our brief was not only to create a dynamic new look and feel but to elevate the human side of the brand through the introduction of engaging imagery and emotive copy. We evolved the existing brand assets including the introduction of a new strapline; 'Targeted Approach, Positive Impact’.
To better reflect the precision and science behind the treatment, semi condensed typeface ‘FS Industrie’ was selected as the brand font.
The dot as a graphic device has been retained and is used in animation to help bring the brand to life digitally. The primary palette has been simplified and refreshed, using a dark navy and bold electric blue, reflecting both trust and transformation.
A secondary palette has also been developed to compliment the primary colours. The green and blue represent Oncosil’s positive impact, with the red and yellow reflecting their targeted approach. The colours not only represent healthcare but also the science and technology that is at the heart of the brand.
