We’re hiring – Account Director – Designhouse

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team and help to lead our client relationships. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the development and execution of brand identity, marketing campaigns and asset creation, ensuring the delivery of exceptional results. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships, and driving business growth.

We are a fun, close-knit team based in our busy Aldwych studio in Central London. With a 53 year track record we produce award winning work for a range of clients ranging from large multinationals like Vitol, Gulf Oil and Deutsche Bank to smaller independent brands.

The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar account management role. It would suit an ambitious Senior Account Manager or an Account Director looking for a new challenge.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in leading and managing a range of branding and ongoing marketing projects, being flexible, adaptable, and capable in working on multiple deliverables, meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing ability and grammar accuracy
  • Strong project management skills. With a strong strategic ability for scoping and planning projects
  • A team player with empathetic people skills, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
  • Able to think on your feet, proactive and eager to find solutions
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Experience of preparing and delivering presentations / proposals of a strategic nature
  • Experience of building excellent relationships with clients
  • Clear evidence of business development skills and negotiation skills
  • Good financial management, improving profitability
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office apps (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)

Further responsibilities include:

  • Managing specific clients and accounts, large and small across a variety of sectors
  • Responsibility for growing accounts, and building relationships with clients
  • Managing the successful delivery of key work – from content, to campaigns, to website builds
  • Building a good and supportive relationship with both the internal team and third party suppliers
  • Writing proposals and estimates based on client briefings
  • Aiding in the completion of online tenders and pitches

Working hours are 9.30am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
